- "You," "customer," "client" refers to the individual or entity engaging our services or browsing our website.

2. Our Services
Pipeline Repair provides residential home repair and maintenance services in the Toronto area, including but not limited to general repairs, plumbing maintenance, minor electrical work, interior improvements, and small-scale renovations.
We reserve the right to decline any service request that falls outside our scope, requires licensing we don't hold, or presents unsafe working conditions. We will communicate this clearly if it arises.
Our services are intended for residential and light commercial properties. We do not undertake large-scale construction or structural engineering work.
3. Estimates & Quotes
Any cost estimate provided — whether through our website's estimator tool, by email, or over the phone — is non-binding and subject to change upon on-site assessment. Final pricing is confirmed in writing before work begins.
The website's cost estimator is provided as a rough planning guide only. Actual costs will depend on the specific conditions of your property, materials required, and the scope of work agreed upon after assessment.
We will never begin work without your explicit written or verbal approval of the quoted scope and price.
4. Scheduling & Cancellations
Appointments are confirmed by phone or email. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a call-out fee to cover our technician's time and travel, which will be communicated to you at the time of booking.
We will make every reasonable effort to arrive within the scheduled time window. Delays due to traffic, weather, or prior jobs running over will be communicated to you as promptly as possible.
5. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing before the job begins. We accept e-transfer, credit card, and cash. For larger projects, a deposit of up to 30% may be requested prior to commencement, to cover material costs.
Invoices not paid within 30 days of the due date may accrue interest at a rate of 1.5% per month (18% per annum) on the outstanding balance, as permitted under Ontario law.
If there is a dispute about any aspect of an invoice, please contact us promptly so we can address it. We will not add interest charges while a genuine dispute is under review.
6. Workmanship Warranty
We stand behind our work. Pipeline Repair provides a 90-day workmanship warranty on all labour performed, covering defects directly attributable to how the work was carried out. This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or third-party interference
- Pre-existing conditions that were not part of the agreed scope of work
- Manufacturer defects in materials (these are subject to the manufacturer's own warranty)
- Issues arising from conditions outside our control (flooding, structural shifts, etc.)
To make a warranty claim, contact us within the 90-day period with a description of the issue. We will assess the situation and, if it falls within warranty, will arrange a remedial visit at no additional cost.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Pipeline Repair's total liability to you for any claim arising out of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific work in question.
We are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., loss of use of your property, lost income)
- Damage caused by pre-existing conditions in your property that were not disclosed to us or were not reasonably discoverable during our assessment
- Delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances outside our control (extreme weather, supply chain disruptions, etc.)
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
