We've been working in Toronto homes since 2012. The team is small, the work is hands-on, and the approach hasn't changed much: show up when you say you will, do what you agreed to do, and be honest about everything else.
Pipeline Repair was started in 2012 by Marcus Reid, who had spent a decade in residential construction and kept seeing the same pattern: homeowners struggling to find tradespeople who showed up reliably, communicated clearly, and didn't inflate the scope of a job.
The idea behind Pipeline Repair was simple: run a service company the way you'd want your own home serviced. Honest assessments, consistent communication, and work that holds up. No hard sells, no misleading estimates, no vanishing after the cheque is cashed.
Over the years, the company has grown steadily — mostly through word of mouth from clients who were happy enough to pass our name along. That's the kind of growth we're comfortable with, because it means the work and the trust are actually there.
We explain what we find, what it means, and what we recommend — clearly. We don't obscure problems to make jobs sound bigger, and we don't minimize them either.
We confirm appointments, show up when we said we would, and follow through on commitments. If something comes up that changes the plan, we communicate it — not after the fact.
Work done carelessly often needs redoing. Our team takes time to do jobs properly the first time — not because we want to charge more, but because it's the point of doing the job at all.
We use plain language. You'll understand what we're doing and why without having to ask. Our quotes are itemized, not vague totals.
Our rates are reasonable for skilled residential work in Toronto. We don't undercut to win jobs and then add to the invoice later, and we don't pad quotes on the front end either.
If something we did falls short, we address it. We're reachable after a job is done, and we take post-job questions and concerns seriously.
Marcus Reid started Pipeline Repair as a two-person operation — himself and a plumber — focused on residential work in West Toronto.
Tom Vasquez came on board, allowing us to offer a full range of electrical services in-house for the first time.
A meaningful point — 90% of that early client base came through direct referrals, which confirmed the approach was working.
Client demand for modest renovation work led us to take on small bathroom and kitchen projects. Diana Kozak joined to handle project coordination.
The team has now completed over 500 residential projects across Toronto. Our approach remains the same as it was in 2012.
Reach out and tell us what you're dealing with. We'll follow up within one business day.
